I am a concerned citizen of the currently flood-ravaged city of Chennai. As an ardent animal lover, I have been doing my bit to help the animal victims of the Chennai floods from the first day that the floods hit the city. I sincerely appeal to everyone reading this to have a little compassion towards the voiceless and generously contribute to help us get the animal rescue unit from Wildlife SOS on the ground to intervene and help animals in distress. I have seen first-hand the devastation of the floods, with animals like dogs and cows drowning, starving or succumbing to infections. I truly feel we cannot stand by without doing something to help. Join me in supporting the rescue and care of these animals.
Funds are required urgently to support relief efforts, purchase medicines and rescue equipment, shelter, food and safe drinking water to the animals being rescued. Give today to save the voiceless victims of the Chennai floods.
I have personally invested several thousands already to help the animals but the destruction is so severe that a lot of effort remains to be put in to help save the animals. There are hundreds of dogs, cats and cows that have survived the floods only to suffer hunger and sickness. These animals urgently need medical treatment, veterinary care and food.
I urge all of you to please join us in supporting the team of vets and rescue staff from Wildlife SOS to save these innocent lives from this horror.
